LAA, along with other industry representatives, has provided formal responses to EASA's proposals for considerably simplifying the full Instrument Rating and introducing a new En-Route IR qualification.  We are actively engaged with Europe Air Sports, AOPA, PPL(IR) Europe and of course the CAA to ensure that not only do these proposals provide possibly the best option for European PPLs, but that we also safeguard the privileges of current and future holders of the UK IMCR.
