The LAA Sywell Rally arrivals slot booking facility is now live so if you are intending to fly into the UK’s largest flying event please go to www.sywellaerodrome.co.uk/bookings.php and register your details. Note that the booking system is active for Aero Expo, LAA Rally and Sywell’s Pistons and Props event so make sure you have the appropriate Rally day in the window before hitting ‘BOOK’.

 

Airfield operating hours for the Rally are 0800 – 1900 local Friday August 30 and Saturday August 31, and 0800 – 1800 local Sunday September 1. Slot times are spaced one per minute.

 

 

The Rally is covered by an AIC which details arrival and landing procedures
YOU CANNOT SIMPLY ARRIVE AND CALL FOR LANDING INSTRUCTIONS!!

 

 

Please ensure that you download the AIC and take it with you in the aircraft, particularly the sections detailing approach and landing instructions. They are not overly complex but are vital for a safe Rally. There is currently a guide available on the slot booking page on which the 2013 AIC is based.
