Members are reminded that the increases in Membership Subscriptions and Permit Fees took affect from March 1st 2014, as announced in the January issue of Light Aviation.

 

All Membership subscriptions rise by £2 except Youth Membership which drops from £15 to £10.

 

The new Permit Fees are:

 

Up to 390 Kg - £115
391 - 499 Kg - £155
500 Kg and above - £210
Three seats and above - £230

Initial Permit issues fees will remain unchanged.

 
In the longer term the Association is keen to raise income from outside of the membership and we continue to trim costs wherever possible in the face of ever increasing prices. A review of Engineering charges will be carried out during 2014 to establish if our current model best serves our membership.

 

Despite these unavoidable increases, we hope you agree that LAA Membership remains excellent value.
