"In promoting safety across General Aviation, the LAA Pilot Coaching Scheme invites any Class Rating Instructor to attend"

This year, the LAA Pilot Coaching Scheme are again providing a seminar for it's LAA coaches, and invite other industry instructors to join them for the training day. The seminar will be packed with informative briefings from well known instructors and examiners with a focus on recent changes in legislation and instructional technique.

We know that many instructors would like the opportunity to discuss training issues, EASA regulations, and many other topics with fellow instructors and examiners. The LAA Pilot Coaching Scheme seminars will provide a forum for such discussions and also provide attendees with the opportunity to improve their knowledge and teaching techniques.

The seminar format is designed so that instructors of all ages and abilities can express their views without fear of retribution. By the end of the seminar attendees will be more knowledgeable about incoming legislation and be better equipped to deal with students’ needs and aspirations. Though CRI Seminars are primarily aimed at Class Rating Instructors, the information and discussion would also benefit any current licence holders, instructors and examiners. Therefore, the LAA Pilot Coaching Scheme are happy to invite any current licence holder with an interest to join in.

The duration of the seminar is one day, and will include presentations and group discussions. Formal sessions will allow for a presentation time of up to 45 minutes followed by 15 minutes for questions. It is an interactive programme and is designed such that all delegates gain the maximum benefit from their time at the seminar.

Our seminars use a team of specialist presenters, all of whom have considerable experience in their particular field. During the seminar our highly qualified team will share with you their skill, methods, and knowledge, gained over many years in aviation.

The one-day Class Rating Instructor seminar will be held on Saturday, 17th September 2016. This year it's being hosted by On-Track Aviation, Wellesbourne Mountford Airfield, in Warwickshire. There's a fee of just £75 to attend the seminar which also includes light lunch and refreshments. Pre-booking is essential, as unfortunately payment cannot be taken on the day.
