Many members will be sorry to have heard that LAA member and round-the-world pilot Colin Hales has suffered back injuries after his Rand KR-2 aircraft crashed in Japan.

 

He is currently in recovering in hospital, but is likely to face a substantial medical bill. One of Colin’s friends has set up a Just Giving page to raise funds to help cover his costs.
