LAA will be exhibiting at the 2019 Aero Expo at Wycombe Air Park, Bucks (SL7 3DP), on Thurs/Fri/Sat 13/14/15 June. We will be located in Hall A and look forward to meeting members and non-members alike, offering advice on how the Association can enable you to get the best value out of your flying budget. A member of our Engineering team will be available to answer your technical queries on all three days.

If you are, or know of, a young student pilot come and have a chat about our Armstrong-Isaacs bursary programme, which will soon be open for this year’s applications.

Air Courtage Assurance will be on the stand alongside us to explain how their tailored LAA insurance scheme can offer you the best aircraft and pilot insurance.

Expo is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on all three days (on Saturday afternoon, from 2:30, there will be an aerobatic air show).

Pilots wishing to fly into the event need to book a landing slot in advance, which will enable them and their passengers free access to the show. See www.aeroexpo.co.uk/fly-in-booking/.

Visitors by road can save by pre-booking their tickets at www.aeroexpo.co.uk/tickets. A one day pass is £17 pre-booked, £22 on the gate, and range of ticket options are available including three-day passes, family, student and disabled, plus camping permits.

One of the star attractions at the event will be the Junkers Flugzeugwerke AG replica Junkers F 13, the first passenger and freight aircraft used solely for civil aviation and the world’s first all-metal commercial aeroplane which first flew 100 years ago, on the 25th of June 1919, in Dessau.

There will also be examples of some of the latest aircraft and systems technology available today in the wide ranging internal and external exhibition, with seminars throughout the event by some of the market leaders, including Garmin, Trig and uAvionix.

Aero Expo 2019 promises to be an interesting and stimulating event - so book now!
