A grass airfield. Situated in the Vale of York, Bagby's well groomed grass strips provide a welcome for all pilots that require fuel, nourishment or maybe just a coffee and a bacon sarny! Situated 3 miles south of Thirsk in North Yorkshire, the airfield is the operating base for a mixture of GA singles, microlights and helicopters. Bagby provides a base for visiting planes for refuelling, lunch and overnight stays. Conveniently located for access to Thirsk, Harrogate, Ripon, The Vale of York and the North York Moors it is a great base for a holiday or short visit.  There is a club house offering food and drink, open 09.00 to 17.00 daily.

The radio is 123.25 but not always manned, but please make calls as normal. There can be quite a lot of traffic from other airfield’s  nearby. No overhead join.  Avoid the village North of the airfield please. AVGAS and Jet A1 available.
