Boston aerodrome was opened in the 1930’s.

Very early on Sir Alan Cobhams Flying Circus visited giving rides and demonstrations to the local community.

In the last war, Boston was used for crop spraying, making a huge contribution to the UK’s food supply. A company called  based themselves here for many years, called  the Lincs Aerial Spraying Company.

A nice grass aerodrome for the summer, with a friendly welcome. Please join overhead. A hedge is at one end with a sports field and rugby posts adjacent to the runway. A ditch is near to the runway at the West end of the runway on the North side.

Please PPR. MOGAS by arrangement.

Self service hot and cold food during the week, with a menu offered and cooked at the weekends.

Look out for microloghts, and powered paramotors. Radio is Safetycom on 135.475 and nearby Coningsby 120.800.
