Boston aerodrome was opened in 1940 as a satellite to the nearby RAF Oakington.

Run by the Rural Flying Corps this is an aerodrome with a friendly welcome, Bourne is ideally located for a good number of people in the South East. Avoid flying over local villages.  Radio is 124.350. Fuel available, but only in emergency if needed as supplies are limited, so please try and have enough for your return home, tea and coffee available. Gliding takes place nearby, PPR please before leaving.
